Regional Sales Director

    Job Responsibility

    - Guide and cultivate a top-tier sales team specializing in energy storage solutions.

    - Formulate and execute strategic sales blueprints to attain revenue goals and penetrate the South and Middle Asian markets.

    - Seek out and follow up on potential business prospects for energy storage initiatives in the Central Asia area.

    - Establish and sustain robust connections with important stakeholders, encompassing government bodies, utility companies, and clients in the private sector.

    - Work together with partners and key industry players to forge strategic collaborations and alliances that fuel the expansion of the business.

    - Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and the actions of competitors to guide strategic decisions.

    - Guide the negotiation process and contract talks with customers, making sure that the terms and conditions are beneficial for all involved parties.

    - Attract, educate, and guide the sales team, nurturing an environment of high standards, teamwork, and customer-centricity.

    - Securing new clients

    - Boosting the company’s revenues, profits, and cash flow in line with set KPIs

    - Backing promotional endeavours and market communications

    - Establishing and showcasing knowledge of the market and sector

    - Formulating and executing strategies to achieve the company’s quarterly and yearly objectives.

    - Regularly travelling for business to meet with current and prospective clients (at least 50% of the time)

     

    Qualifications:

    - Possession of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or Economics is required, while a Master's degree would be beneficial.

    - Demonstrated success in sales leadership within the energy storage or renewable energy sector.

    - Comprehensive knowledge of the energy market and regulatory environment in Central Asia.

    - Basic understanding of the design concepts for solar and wind power plants is a must.

    - Familiarity with energy yield concepts for solar and wind plants, using simulation software such as HOMER, PV SYST/Windpro, ACAD, etc.

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    - Willingness to travel within the Central Asia region as necessary.

    - Possesses extensive overseas business experience.

    - Capable of accepting the challenge of building a team from the ground up.

    - A minimum of 12-15 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in ESS or related industries (such as electronic applications, energy, etc.).

    - A results-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.

    - Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

    - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical abilities, as well as intercultural skills.

    - Highly reliable and capable of working under pressure.

    - Enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated, and an excellent team player.

    - Good command of Russian, English
