Role purpose:
- To develop and manage the material distribution for Company operations. Manage material sourcing, purchasing, production, inventory, control receiving, inspection, storage and shipping functions in an efficient and cost-effective manner. In addition, the Material manager must ensure proper systems are in place to develop capable and cost competitive supplier in line with Company quality expectation
Scope of work:
- To ensure
- smooth and continuous materials supply for company operations
- materials are purchased as per company and end customer’s requirements
- cost effective materials sourcing, purchasing and planning to enhance company’s profitability and it’s
competiveness in the market
- proper capacity planning to maximize customers’ satisfaction and our resource utilization
- high material inventory accuracy via regular cycle counts or physical inventory count
- all the finished goods are properly shipped per the delivery plan via the most cost-effective manner
- the department staff follow the company policies and procedures, and all the functions and activities as per the company goals, objective and planned budget
- Maintain the lowest possible inventory planwide to maximize the inventory turns
- Develop and maintain value added core vendor base via vendor rating systems and ship to stock programs
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in external economics or related field
- 2-3 years of exp in Import-export trade/Purchasing/Warehouse/Planner
- Good with shipping compliances and customs
- Good in negotiation
- Skilled with MS Office, SAP
- Can communicate in Chinese
