Global Sales Operation Director

    Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Sales Operations Director to lead and optimize the global sales operations. As the Global Sales Operations Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency across all global sales channels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive sales and contributing to our client’s mission of sustainable mobility. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends. Drive the development of sales targets, forecasts, and budgets to support revenue growth initiatives. 
    • Global Sales Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of global sales operations, including sales planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and territory management. Implement best practices to optimize sales processes and enhance operational efficiency. 
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and coordination across all aspects of the sales cycle. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment to drive cross-functional success. 
    • Performance Tracking and Analysis: Develop and implement robust sales performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning. 
    • Sales Enablement: Lead the development and implementation of sales enablement programs, including training, tools, and resources, to empower the sales team and enhance their effectiveness in driving revenue growth. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure alignment with sales objectives. 
    • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and potential growth areas to expand VinFast's global sales footprint. Develop market entry strategies and partnerships to penetrate new markets and maximize sales growth potential. 
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and ensure exceptional service delivery. 
    • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all aspects of sales operations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with sales activities to protect the interests of the company. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
    • Minimum 10 years in Sales Operations with regional or global scope. 
    • Experience in organizing and operating teams and implementing business plans to achieve sales objectives. 
    • Proven track record of success in diplomacy with suppliers and distributors, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships. 
    • Previous experience working for automobile manufacturers (Distributors, Manufacturers) is an advantage, demonstrating a deep understanding of the automotive industry landscape. 
    • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices. 
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. 
    • Exceptional leadership and management abilities with a focus on driving results and fostering a high-performance culture. 
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies. 
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
    • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
