*Knowledge / Technical / Experience:

  • University graduate with solid academic results preferably in business management and a minimum marketing function experience of 6-10 years in a big FMCG company with at least 3 years experience as Manage Managers.
  • Should have worked as a Brand Manager/Group Brand Manager in big FMCG company.
  • A broad cross-functional knowledge of business operations.
  • The jobholder must be able to demonstrate the leadership ability to motivate, inspire and lead an empowered group of managers.
  • Understanding of the greater context of business strategies and external environment (i.e. the big picture), motivating & developing people, communication & interpersonal skills, ability to influence the top management team, analytical skills, thinking /operating strategically for making key business decisions.
  • The job holder must be able to extensively engage with and influence both global and regional key stakeholders, international creative agencies and various marketing stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of brand management and portfolio management.
  • Influence level of English writing and speaking ability (Advance Level)

*FOCUS for the role:

  • To be able to develop a comprehensive brand plan highlighting target segments, brand issues/priorities, plans to achieve brand objectives covering a wide range of touch points.
  • To be able to work closely with regional marketing teams, advertising agencies, Trade Marketing & Research colleagues to ensure effective implementation of marketing activities.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely completion and implementation of plans.
